It breaks up communities that took time, effort, and care to build because community cannot be quantified on a spreadsheet. We need a more holistic look at the analysis that went into this proposal, and a stronger philosophy on how to maintain the connection and belonging that we know—and the data show—are so critical to our kids' cognition and learning.
