Familias, vecinos, exalumnos y niños de todo el distrito le pidieron a BVSD votar no a su plan de cierres. BVSD lo aprobó por 5 votos a 2 el 22 de septiembre. Aquí una voz:

My two grandchildren have attended Douglass Elementary School since preschool and are now in third and second grade. I have another granddaughter that will attend the school in a couple of years. The location is in their neighborhood. Their parents have have always fully supported the school and teachers and assumed their three children would graduate from Douglass! I hope that they will continue to attend their neighborhood school which they love! Thank you!
