Escríbale a la Junta →Closing Douglass wasn’t on our radar as a possibility when we (recently) chose to relocate to this community after being displaced by the Marshall Fire. We hadn’t seen it meet closure criteria and had only heard positive things about the community, which is a unique blend of east county and Boulder proper. While some of the homes in district of Douglass are in affluent areas, some are not and by slightly widening the boundary on the east side, we could alleviate some of the Lafayette Elementary crowding.
