Familias, vecinos, exalumnos y niños de todo el distrito le pidieron a BVSD votar no a su plan de cierres. BVSD lo aprobó por 5 votos a 2 el 22 de septiembre. Aquí una voz:

I’m invested in this community, and I want to have faith in my school board. This proposal is a failure. It causes a lot of disruption, but it doesn’t solve any problems. It doesn’t save enough money or reduce enough empty seats. It doesn’t follow the rules or processes for closing schools. It promises that more schools will close, with no plan or vision for the future. My kids will be in middle school in 4 years, then in high school. Are you going to put us through this again? Please tell us how our schools will look in the future, then show us the plan to get there. Don’t just shuffle kids around like deck chairs on the Titanic.
