Familias, vecinos, exalumnos y niños de todo el distrito le pidieron a BVSD votar no a su plan de cierres. BVSD lo aprobó por 5 votos a 2 el 22 de septiembre. Aquí una voz:

Closing and consolidating schools without publishing a detailed plan that can be reviewed and confirmed is not acceptable. Such a proposal would never be considered in a real business environment. There has also been no explanation provided why this has to be an all or nothing proposal. The board should be given options and the BVSD school community should be given the chance to see the full impact of the proposed changes before any decisions are made.
