Escríbale a la Junta →Douglass elementary has been a wonderful school experience for my children. This would affect all students if Douglass were to close. They just started the school year, met many new faces, new teachers who have done nothing but welcome these young children into their arms with love, confidence. This school has understood the meaning of a community the meaning of standing as one together. This isn’t my children’s home school we chose this school because academically they had a great rating, overall all teachers are kind, respectful and always encouraging and understanding each and every child’s needs whether it’s academic, physical, or emotional support. They have support my family and I will continue to support them as best as I can and I hope we all can come together to save this wonderful school.
