Escríbale a la Junta de BVSD →Birch is the soul of our neighborhood and community. Both my children went there and benefited greatly from the wonderful teachers and staff. I see all the families from the neighborhood ride their bikes and walk to school every morning. In this day and age connections are slipping from our fingertips. These daily, communal rituals of walking together, hearing the children play at recess, having an integrated school serving children and families across socio-economic needs, a place steeped in Broomfield history…it is a gift that has been nurtured and built over many years and such a loss is deeply felt for current and future students and families. Birch produces good academic outcomes, growth is expected, diverse needs are served here. Why close this school? Please reconsider.
