This plan barely addresses the under-utilization problem in Boulder and while I understand there are clear downsides to waiting (both financially, learner experience in small schools, and time of everyone involved), voting NO and re-working a more holistic plan that matches the recommended school #s to meet utilization and includes analysis of dual language, and the other parts of the district is better then pushing forward a plan that doesn't solve the problems and will immediately need to be revisited. Additionally, while the plan claims to address the community's #1 ask of small class sizes, there has been no data shown to this affect other than statements from BVSD leadership that class sizes will have "less variability". I appreciate the value of reducing class size variability, but are we actually decreasing class sizes overall?
