Familias, vecinos, exalumnos y niños de todo el distrito le pidieron a BVSD votar no a su plan de cierres. BVSD lo aprobó por 5 votos a 2 el 22 de septiembre. Aquí una voz:

Our son attended Douglass and had the best experience there, after open enrolling from our neighborhood school. This school is tremendously well run, the principal and staff are amazing, and we felt a true sense of community there. It saddens me to think that the school might be shuttered simply to displace other schools. Please rethink this proposal and keep Douglass Douglass!
