Familias, vecinos, exalumnos y niños de todo el distrito le pidieron a BVSD votar no a su plan de cierres. BVSD lo aprobó por 5 votos a 2 el 22 de septiembre. Aquí una voz:

Completely short sighted not just on the effects for the students but for the neighboring community as well. With Mesa closing, Bear Creek will go to 90% capacity. Where is the traffic study? Where is the promise that a traffic light will be put in at Lehigh and Table Mesa? Will BVSD now take responsibility for the liability of cars backed up every morning trying to go to work, Mesa parents trying to turn left to get their kids to school and what would happen in an emergency like a fire or someone who needs emergency medical care? If this is the new strategy, the structure needs to be in place too.
