There is no path forward until there is a proposal that FIRST considers deeply the lives it impacts most directly. The trust is already lost. We can't trust the board in the future. What happens in 5 years to middle schools? To be up front or give notice of these moves that feel final and like we, who are directly impacted and displaced, are the last to know. It seems, big decisions are being made behind closed doors and the forum of listening to public community voices is performative. I will not take that chance with my children. I'm happy to make decisions for my family so we aren't pawns in this game for the districts 2035 vision. Absolutely disappointed and embarrassed in the delivery and execution of this whole ordeal. There is still time to make it right.
