Familias, vecinos, exalumnos y niños de todo el distrito le pidieron a BVSD votar no a su plan de cierres. BVSD lo aprobó por 5 votos a 2 el 22 de septiembre. Aquí una voz:

My son goes to school at Birch currently and we live on the same street as the school. Our neighborhood has many generations of families that have sent kids through Birch and it was important to us to be a part of that history. We have so many young families moving into the neighborhood that are planning to attend Birch so that's why it's so important to us that it stays open. We also have a 4 year old that would be starting next year.
