We moved to our neighborhood in part because of the reputation Douglass has. It's a stellar, accessible school within walking distance. The contemplation of moving High Peaks to the building puts up barriers of accessibility rather than lowers then for our area, and I urge the Board to reconsider the Douglass plan that disintegrates a bonded student population and creates access barriers for our community.
