BVSD has the plan backwards. They should not close strong schools that are excelling, winning awards and have created strong and supportive communities. BVSD should celebrate these schools, advertise the success of these schools to draw families into Boulder seeking strong schools and communities. If the schools are closed there is no draw for families to move into Boulder. As a result, more schools will have low enrollment, property values will drop and Boulder will become a wasteland.
