Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

My husband and I live near the school and one of the things we love most about the neighborhood is the kids playing in the school yard and hearing them laughing. We love the Flatirons school. Two of our grandkids went there and we really hope you don’t close the school. Please let us know how we can support keeping it open.
