Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

I attended Douglass and now my nephews attend Douglass. It was an important part of my life, and I have still have strong connections from those years. Douglass is fundamental part of the community for so many families likes ours. Happy to speak or attend any events to support keeping the school open.
