I am deeply disappointed that BVSD is considering school closures while having prioritized spending on costly new administrative facilities. At a time when Boulder has abundant vacant commercial space following COVID, it is difficult to understand the decision to invest heavily in new administrative offices rather than directing limited funds toward maintaining and preserving the schools our children attend. Taxpayer dollars should prioritize classrooms and the facilities that serve students—not expensive administrative infrastructure.
