I am a homeowner in the Douglass school district. In the past five years, our neighborhood has had a significant increase in young families. Many of my neighbors bought homes and moved here so that their children would be able to attend Douglass. I am concerned by the fast timeline of this potential closure and the lack of openness, transparency, and community engagement.
