For more than 35 years, I’ve watched Flatirons Elementary help make the University Hill a real neighborhood. My son went to school there, and closing Flatirons would mean losing something that, once gone, will be nearly impossible to bring back—a walkable neighborhood school that connects generations of Boulder families.
