We moved specifically to this neighborhood because of Flatirons Elementary. We wanted a small, neighborhood school where our daughter could feel a strong sense of community. We are devastated that Flatirons is one of the schools proposed to close. This will have long term effects on the community as a whole, well beyond just the students impacted.
