I am an extremely concerned neighbor who is retired. This school does not only serve the children and families who attend; it supports a neighborhood that is diverse in residents. We all benefit from a neighborhood that provides services to growing families. Families have chosen this neighborhood because of Flatirons and will be uprooted by this change. They contribute to reducing car emissions. What is BVSD's obligation and responsibility to the city goal of 15-minute neighborhoods? This decision thoroughly opposes this community value. I hope that you will NOT approve this plan.
