Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

The timing of this announcement is unfounded and shocking. I'm signing in support of my niece who attends the school and who lives in a neighborhood where family connections are it's strength. Such a hardship to think about the difficulty that this change would bring to families who have modified their schedules to accommodate the start of school. Best of luck as conversations (hopefully) continue!
