Write to the Board →We are parents of former students of Douglass Elementary School, as well as Platt Middle School. The location and accessibility of Douglass and Platt schools were the main reasons we selected this location to raise our family. For children to be able to walk or ride their bikes to school without the fear of traffic is a wonderful asset. I’m sure it was/is for many in the area. I think it’s very important to retain both of these schools. The schools help us retain the desirability and value and community of the neighborhood.
