Write to the Board →As a 25 year veteran of elementary education, in a diverse community, I know that a child’s early education is the most important. In the formative years, children learn to read and write. They learn their numbers and the complex systems of math. Two of our grandchildren attend Douglas Elementary, They have attained early childhood skills through dedicated teaching, and one on one assistance. They look forward to every school day. Uprooting them now would be a mistake. Please consider the children and their parents and the dedicated teachers that make Douglas Elementary so successful! Thank you.
