I would like to humbly urge the board to vote 'No' on the Resilient Schools proposal. We recently moved to Boulder county and have a baby who is 11 months old. One of the reasons we chose Boulder county was because of it's highly rated "Public" schools. My husband and I always talked about how much we are looking forward to sending our son to Douglas Elementary school. My husband says how he sees the school every time he drives to work and that he is so excited to drop our son there in the future. We love the concept of public schools where all the diverse kids from different background come together and build a community. Please listen to the voices of new parents who are building a dream for their kids future.
