Let’s keep our options open and look at how BVSD can add value / programs to our neighborhood schools, instead of closing them to save a few bucks! We need stronger leadership to direct the use of our property tax money other than tossing our hands up! What happen to all the school bond money that our community keeps saying yes too? Are school closures a long terms solution and is it ok to have small schools? Can we bring in other programs such as pre-k programs or charter programs? Let’s have a community conversation before these decisions are officially made!
