Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

Our kids came up through BVSD. Douglas is out neighborhood elementary school here is Paul Nor. The neighborhood is multigenerational. Kids walk to school. Getting rid of Douglas would be a hit to the neigh and community.
