Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

I’m very worried about class sizes now and in the future when may you get child start there in 3 years. Also if they need to add portables it will be a huge eyesore. The open plan space would not leave room for quiet areas to pull students out for individual instruction when needed.
