I have two grandchildren who attend Douglas Elementary, where they are thriving academically, socially, and emotionally. They love their teachers, their friends, and their school environment. Uprooting them and disrupting their experience and enjoyment of school is not the solution to the enrollment problems BVSD faces. Please honor the process and criteria you have established and keep Douglas open.
