Douglass went above and beyond to prepare me for future academic success while creating an unforgettable environment—I still fondly remember the events, songs, and traditions that defined my childhood. Over the years, I’ve come to realize just how fortunate I was to grow up in a community where students felt safe, loved, and truly supported. Please reconsider closing this extraordinary school.
