Douglass is a special school community. Its closure would be a big loss to BVSD. The lack of procedural transparency, hasty timeline and unclear data have broken community trust in the process. The risks far outweigh the 1% budgetary “reward”. There is power in the PAUSE. Reassess and include the communities you’re impacting.
