We understand that the district is facing difficult decisions. However, our community ask you to prioritize the needs of students and the well-being of the communities these schools serve. Mesa provides our children with stability, belonging, meaningful relationships, and a learning environment where they are known and supported. These qualities cannot be measured simply through enrollment numbers or building capacity. Closing a neighborhood school would create significant disruption for students, families, and staff. Please listen carefully to the communities most affected and pursue solutions that preserve their connections and educational experience. I urge you to vote no on the proposal and protect Mesa Elementary.
