The Mesa / Bear Creek merger proposal is clearly a half-baked proposal, immediately maxing out the building capacity (against The Board’s advice), inequitable and extremely insensitive treatment of open enrolled children (making them reapply when you know you will reject them due to space - severely traumatized them by forcing them away from their peers and any teachers/staff they know), and no clear plan for creating a good educational environment and experience for all students in the campus (crowded with open concept classrooms, not enough of the right rooms for RISE and AIM). Not a resilient solution at all and not an experience in line with the goals of BVSD. Please require a better plan for South Boulder.
