Write to the Board →This is our neighborhood school. It serves a large area of students. All 3 of our children when to Douglass. It is very surprising that this decision would be made without more notification to the community. Our community, our property values are impacted by this change. This school has an incredible history in Boulder. I was born and raised here (1969) and Douglass has been a steadfast, well-known, and well-regarded elementary school all my life. The community and the school deserve an opportunity to review the recommendations and the impact before a decision of this magnitude is made by a small group of people. Thank you!
