I so valued having my children attend a neighborhood school and am concerned that the school board hasn't addressed why enrollment has fallen so much to require school closures - for example, is the quality going down due to the lack of innovation so families are going to private schools? It seems like an easy fix to close and consolidate instead of addressing the systemic causes.
