It's been many years since my son attended a BVSD school, but I can't imagine what the parents and students of wonderful Douglass are going through with this possible school closure looming. I know population is currently a little low, but that trend is likely to reverse as more development happens, and then it will be a tragedy that this excellent school closed to provide a quick fix to a short-term problem.
