Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

Both of my children went to flatirons - it is such a wonderful school. The district definitely needs to provide more information and data before doing something so drastic. I do think this is more than just school closing actions - there’s clearly a big systemic issue with cities, communities schools and more - and I really think if we mobilize the kids to speak up and show up at the meeting, that’s going to help
