Write to the Board →As a 4th grade student at Douglass, it is devastating that they are trying to close my school. I won’t be able to go to school with my friends next year. I won’t be able to go to the school that I have loved since preschool and where I have learned so much. I am sad that I won’t be able to do the 5th grade traditions I am looking forward to. The board members are not thinking about what’s best for us kids, they are kicking us out without thinking it through.
