Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

I spoke directly with children impacted by this possible shut down. They are grateful they can walk and bike to school and sad they may have to go far away and not have easy access. Allowing the children to speak for themselves is so important. These schools provide so much for the community and Boulder as a whole.
