Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

Mesa is a special, unique, intentionally inclusive haven of a school and is the heart of the community. Scrapping it may be penny-wise (tho not sure the long term numbers bear out that assumption), but it certainly is pound foolish. Do better, BVSD.
