My daughter will be a fifth grader at Bear Creek next year and receives IEP services. I am not comfortable adding a large number of students to Bear Creek without first knowing that the school has the classrooms, staffing, special education space, and support services to handle the combined population without overcrowding. If Bear Creek needs to be expanded or modified to accommodate another school community, that work should happen before students are moved not afterward. Families should not have to hope that class sizes and services will work out once everyone is already there.
