Email BVSD Board →Flatirons is the iconic Boulder school. It represents the community many of us moved here for - and desperately want to keep. Over the decades, Flatirons has served as a beacon of hope and vibrancy - it is a caring learning community comprised of committed teachers, parents and caregivers, and most of all, students who bring their energy to the neighborhood surrounding this special school. Our three children went here and loved it. They walked to school, they played on the playground after, they sang in the choir and ran in the Pebble Pebble. In fact, many of the teachers at Flatirons were once students there themselves. Let's take the time to reflect together on the best way to handle BVSD enrollment in ways that preserve the foundational characteristics of the Boulder we love - including small, neighborhood schools like Flatirons.
