Write to the Board →Hearing that a consultant group was brought in to help BVSD figure out declining enrollment makes my heart sink. We live in Broomfield which is distinctly different than Boulder in every way (that’s why so many people are moving here). People outside of our community do not know what is best for us. This group and your board will not share the data used to support this decision. Parents who are skilled data analysts have gotten correct data, and show that this decision does not make sense. I feel that the trust is not there. It is your job to present all your information, and if it makes sense the numbers would speak for themselves. Projecting a 33 child enrollment in 2030 is blatantly incorrect. Make a better plan. Our kids deserve it.
