Parents, neighbors, alumni and kids across the district asked BVSD to vote no on its school-closure plan. BVSD approved it 5–2 on September 22. Here’s one voice:

We live in Colorado, just outside of Boulder. My kids would be devastated if their school closed abruptly and without good reason. There are so many reasons this is wrong. And then to not give the neighborhood children first right to attend their neighborhood school. The plan doesn’t add up. These kids deserve better. Don’t close the school!
