given the CU south expansion and just release brand new boulder county comprehensive plan, a lot of housing is going to be added in the future, and this is shortsighted and lacks coordination with city and county government, the public, stakeholders including teachers, parents and school administration, who are all in the dark about the logistics and actual costs to shut down and combine schools, when in fact, in a few short years, they may need to reopen or add space. the BVSD boards lack of transparency and democratic process is shameful and unprofessional. Had you involved the community in these decision making processes earlier, you might have a better plan right now that actually fits the needs of the community and has an eye to the future.
