I myself am an alumni that attended Douglas elementary in the mid 90s - early 2000’s and have known countless families that have attended throughout the years, taught at the school, or been involved in its community. The closure of Douglas would be an enormous loss to not only the BVSD community, but to the families, staff, and students that are proud to have Douglas elementary be a part of their story.
